What's fantastic about being a full- time mom and not working for a magazine anymore is going to cocktail parties without having to write about the event. I am just lucky I still receive the invites (thanks to Shirley and Reyna!) What's next on my social calendar is the cocktail for the author of the Piano Teacher. Honestly, I've never heard of this book but she is worth meeting. Not to mention the free champagne and the thrill of the sight of nice bags and shoes at On Pedder, See you there (hubby is taking care of baby)!
