I remember the good ol' days when the stiletto was my best friend. I would wear heels everywhere everywhere and could not live without them. I would strut in them even while walking on the beach. My motto was style comes first, comfort second.
And then some fairy cast a magic spell on me, became pregnant and turned into a Flataholic. Some women still wear heels while pregnant but I didn't. As soon as I hit the third trimester, I was starting to lose my balance and felt more secure wearing flats. It was lucky it was the era for ballerina shoes so there were tons of pretty flats to choose from.
If you are looking for the perfect pair of flats, these are my recommendations:
1. Tod's driving shoes (will never slip when wearing these)
2. Tory Burch Revas (super comfy and has tons of colors to choose from)
3. Lanvin ballerinas (who says you need to wear heels to look fashionable?)
4. Sneakers (Go for Stella Mccartney, Alexander Mcqueen or Hogan)
And I would like to buy:
1. Gucci rubber flats (very very comfy!)
2. Salvatore Ferragamo Varina flats (so pretty and perfect for all occasions)
Of course there's always Prada, Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin! My friend also swears by her Repetto, Maloles and Marc Jacobs mouse flats.
