Popcorn is Out!

I was so shocked to hear the news this morning. My friend just gave birth to a baby girl. She came out a bit early but she is healthy and very beautiful (like her Mom). I can't wait to meet her. It's so cute... my daughter kissed my phone when I showed her the pic of her new friend who is just like her (Swiss-Filipina and an Aries too!) Seeing her pic just gave me goosebumps and just made me remember the feeling of giving birth (okay, let's skip that!) and was nostalgic remembering how tiny my baby was before. Now, she is almost one year old.

I never used to like children and thought I never would have one so you can just imagine how I felt when I saw the results on the pregnancy stick. I was just on the phone with my friend and we were just laughing because I did not know what to do. (Now, a year and a half later after that conversation, her baby is born! How time flies!)

Little did I know that having a baby is the most beautiful thing on earth. When I look at my daughter, I can't believe she actually came from me, especially when she is happy and smiling all the time. Babies are like lil angels (and devils too sometimes) and they are such a blessing. No matter how much sacrifice is involved (like not sleeping and buying her pram instead of my bag), it's all worth it! And I thought that was a cliche!

To all the new moms out there, and those who are planning to be moms, having a baby is definitely a life-changing experience and I definitely recommend it (more than the diamond pacifier I just posted. Come to think of it, there would be no pacifier if there is no baby. Duh!)!

Kudos to all the Moms and Welcome Baby Popcorn!
