Oh what a joy to see your baby walking! I just love to see the smile on her face when she reaches her destination with a few wobbly steps. She has been cruising for a couple of months and now she is ready to walk. Was so excited that I headed to the mall to buy her first pair of walking shoes.
What to buy? I've surfed the net and saw a couple of recommended brands: Pediped, Robee, Jack & Lily, Shooshoos. Unfortunately, not all are available in Hong Kong. I scanned the stores in Ocean Terminal of Harbour City and saw Pediped and Jack & Lily. It was a rip-off though at HK$320 (They have a promo where you can buy two pairs for HK$499). I bought a pair of Pediped ones anyway since I was so keen on seeing my baby walk with proper baby shoes. Check them out at www.pediped.com. They are so cute!
As soon as we got home, I put them on her and she loved it! Ah, it was worth the trip to the mall! Now, I am obssessed with baby shoes and what I would love for her to get is a pair of these Baby Gucci shoes. Wait a minute, that is not exactly walking shoes! I know... I know... but how can you resist something like this?
How much? US$215... that's HK$1,677... err! Maybe for her birthday? Not!
