Several friends have been asking me about Avent bottles. I was one of those moms who bought Avent bottles for my baby. They were the leading brand in the market for years and I wanted to go for the best brand. However, after attending a class at Annerley Wives in Central, they sent me an email telling me to buy the BPA- free bottles instead.
I was wondering, hmm... if thousands of babies have been fed with Avent bottles in the past and they are okay then there should be no problem. But, when it comes to your precious one, how can you risk anything? I decided to buy the Mustela bottles and got rid of the Avent ones. I was pretty happy with Mustela, my daughter liked the soft nipples. Later on, I bought Dr. Brown's anti-colic wide neck bottles and my baby would spit-up lesser than usual.
Until now, she is using her Dr. Brown. I have no regrets buying them now. I am not merely buying another brand for my daughter, I'm paying for my peace of mind.
