Zombie in the House!

Sleep deprivation is not a joke, especially for moms who wake up every two hours to breastfeed. I remember feeling like a zombie during those days. My memory was really bad because of the epidural... like sometimes I forgot I had a baby. When I woke up to feed my daughter, I forgot which breast I fed her from or what time the last feed was. And since I was too lazy to write it down, I just guessed.

Today's moms don't need to worry because there are breastfeeding bracelets. Don't get too excited. They are not made of gold and diamonds so there is no need to go to Van Cleef and Arpels or Chopard (although I am sure you can have one custom-made if you want).

This bracelet is multi-purpose, you can use it to note the time you fed baby, the time baby went to sleep or was given medicine. The bracelet is worn either on the left or right hand depending on which breast you last fed baby from. (For those ignorant about breastfeeding, it is important to alternate breasts when giving milk to baby).

Now, when done with breastfeeding, I am sure you can find other uses for the bracelet. Maybe to note the time you last ate if you are anal about your diet.. time you last took your pill so you don't forget or even the time you last made love so you can go for the second round!
