Sunny Days

I am loving the spring-summer palette for 2009! Makes it even harder for me to resist shopping when I see the cool blues and bright yellows of this season. For baby, I have been leaning towards coral. That's the color of her birthday dress in cotton eyelet fabric. So cute, she looks like an orange sherbet cone.

Since babies can get messy and dirty, I am on the lookout for her second outfit for her big day. I want to stay in the same color scheme so I want something with some orange hues too and would match silver shoes from Pediped (haven't ordered it yet though). Saw this really cute Burberry dress (but I'm afraid I cannot afford it) so maybe I'll just go for Ralph Lauren (hope they have this style in Hong Kong).


Since that's settled, I have yet to find my dress. I saw this dress in EQIQ in Elements and will try it again later. It's not the same shade as baby's but their colors complement each other. I hope it's still on sale...

If only I can afford these fabulous dresses by Miu Miu...(both already sold out).


Or these beautiful outfits from Missoni (although I think the first one is too much for just a playground and I need to be thinner for the second dress)...


And oh how I wish I can buy these colorful wrap dress and coat by Diane Von Furstenberg...

Oops, I forgot that birthday parties for kids means kneeling down on my knees, spaghetti on my dress, and all the other mishaps. Maybe I should be wearing jeans...
