I found a perfect solution for families using part-time help (like us), the Babysitter Board. Of course, it is still important that these nannies be briefed about baby but it would be great if important information is written down... from emergency numbers to the last time baby ate and what she had for dinner.
Ex. Alex had caviar at 6pm. Needs to have her bottle at 10pm. Not allowed to eat chocolates, ice cream or sushi...
I remember my friend (who had a full-time nanny) was writing down baby's activities everyday including the times baby peed and pooed, number of milk bottles given to her. Nope, she's not that anal that she also writes down the times baby smiles and pukes. If you are that kind of mom, this board can be used for the same purpose.
The babysitter board is for sale at Bambini Bliss for $14.99. If not, it would be easy for you to make your own frame or just scribble it down on a piece of paper and post it with a magnet of your baby's pic on your fridge door.
