I Love Lucy

Forgive me for not being able to blog recently. Work's been busy and my hubby was away with Macbook for 2 days. Glad both he and Apple are back. What I am sad about though is Lucy is gone...

Lucy is my daughter's nanny. Unfortunately, in Hong Kong there's just tons of procedures to hire a helper. Requirements at immigration, phil. consulate, blah blah blah. It's been draining me (and hubby) for the last few days just going back and forth... from the employment agency, consulate, work plus baby's vaccination which sked I got mixed up (can't believed I skipped work only for the nurse to tell me that the vaccination was scheduled for another day. Argh!)

Don't worry about me. It's not that bad! It's probably just me waking up with a heavy period (at least I am still menstruating!). Things have been so much better since Lucy came in... let me tell you 10 good reasons why I Love Lucy...

1. My social life is back. I can finally go out partying again and not having to feel guilty about it.
2. I can eat my fave Filipino food like adobo, sinigang, etc since she can cook this too.
3. My daughter is so thrilled to see me since she's been with Lucy the whole day.
4. She is tiny so I don't feel like there is a stranger at home.
5. She is able to deal with my daughter's tantrums.
6. She does not whine, complain or demand.
7. She does not ask too many questions.
8. My hubby and I can go out on dates again.
9. I can wake up later in the morning.
10. Our house is squeaky clean. Enough said.

Problem is Lucy needs to go home to Manila to wait for her visa which could take 4-6 weeks. Boo! In the meantime, I have Rose. Let me tell you later if I love her too...
