Back to the Future
My life is slowly going back to normal...
1. Am getting into the groove of things at work and made two sales in one week.
2. My new nanny still needs to be trained some more but she is getting there.
3. Am shopping again! Went to the Givenchy private sale and got some wallets at 90% off! (Finally got my Mom her mother's day present)
4. Hubby and I had our first dinner date after a long time at our fave resto, Spasso, last night. (The waiters were asking where baby was, I guess they weren't used to seeing us without her anymore.)
But, what I would love love love to have back would be my figure! I don't want that to be a thing of the past...
I know, I know I have been talking about the Stroller Strides exercise, eating fat-free yoghurt, swimming in the pool downstairs and sacrificing chocolates. I am all talk! But, now it's gotta be for real!
Now that the new nanny is around (Don't ask me about Lucy, still figuring out what to do with her), I have no excuse to not work out. I'm tired of hiding my body with loose and ugly clothes and looking bigger than all of my friends! What's worse is I showed some old pics to my hubby and he asked me, "Who's that?" Now, that is a major wake-up call!
Now, my dilemma is what is the best exercise? Should I join an aerobics or step class at California Fitness? Go for a Nei Gong private class given by a friend? Enroll in hot yoga or pole dancing in PURE? Enroll in the post-pregnancy program at Mandarin Oriental? Start jogging at the track across the road? Or get a personal trainer. There are just too many options. Just like eating buffet.
Oops, did I just mention food? I'm doomed!
