It's getting hot in here! My daughter's head is sweating like a pig... what's worse is she is starting to have a lil rash behind her neck because of her hair. Time to go to the baby salon.
I'm actually a bit nervous about her first haircut. Should we just do it ourselves at home and risk her looking like a helmet? I have not seen a salon especially for kids in Hong Kong. Just read on Geobaby that there is a salon called Magic Mirror in Causeway Bay. Hmm... I hope their hairdresser can handle my daughter. It's always a struggle when we go for a check-up at the doctor's because she can not stay in one place and squiggles like a worm. Am afraid she might get hurt or worse, have ugly hair.
Am seriously thinking about going home to Manila to bring her to Cuts for Tots or to my friend's salon in Davao. Would be a good excuse to visit her and see the white beaches at Pearl Farm. Oops, I forgot I have work...
My hubby told me he can cut our daughter's hair (should I trust him?) but just needs to see some pics for reference. And of course, who's pic have I got to show? Then my baby's look-a-like, Suri! Don't laugh, they really have a resemblance since birth. See...
I really like Suri's bangs and bob, looks really cute and neat for a preppie baby like mine.
Any pointers on cutting baby's hair for the first time?

if there's anything she can concentrate on, like a tv show or a game or something, have her watch that so she doesn't squirm. use your iphne or ipod if the salon doesn't have a tv/dvd. :) she is a squirmy baby. i found that out when i was trying to wipe and clean her nose
