A Dapple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away

After the announcement of the first Swine Flu victim in Hong Kong, everyone was so paranoid about hygiene. When riding the MTR, your ears will get tired of them announcing to cover your mouth when you sneeze, etc. It's so annoying it just makes me want to ride a cab to all my appointments during the day! My boss was also making a joke about how some locals try to avoid pressing the buttons on the lift with their fingers and use their elbows instead. Too funny! At Central Plaza one afternoon, I saw a cleaning lady just disinfecting the rails of the escalator, that's what you call a day job nowadays! Manic! I guess I couldn't blame them after SARS hit this city...

Honestly, I am not too bothered. The day I wear a mask, my life is over. What I am more concerned about is baby. I just make sure that my hands are clean when I come home and pick up baby. Just hope the nanny does the same too. It's a good thing my mom bought me several bottles of Bath and Body works hand sanitizers before. They are put to good use now.

But, what I don't have is the Dapple toy cleaner spray. My daughter hardly sits still when she eats so she has to be entertained with some toys while having lunch so sometimes her food is all over her toys. She also throws her blocks and balls all over the living room so they collect dust underneath the tables. What's worse is she licks them (like a dog) when she picks them up. So, it's time to get a Dapple! I just need to check the ingredients of this spray and make sure it's not harmful to baby, in case she starts putting the toys in her mouth after.

I swear to God! The things on my shopping list. Before it used to be lipstick, shoes, or a tank top. Who would've thought I would start buying toy cleaner spray? Can I use this to make my hair glossy too? Not!

  1. I use both the Toy Cleaner Spray and the Wipes and I absolutely love them!

According to the website, the Spray features natural-based ingredients, is fragranced with pure lavender essential oil, and is phtalate-free, paraben-free, SLES- and dye-free! And it's certified to contain no detectable levels of dioxane. The spray consists of:

"Purified water, baking soda, cleaners made from fruits, tree oils, and glucose, French lavender essential oil, essential oil dispersant, and preservative derived from natural amino acid."

  2. Thanks for giving good reviews. I'll definitely consider buying them soon. Did you buy them in Hong Kong?
